The murder of a girl occurred at El Arish about the 10th or 11th of the month. Prisoners have been made, an inquiry held, and application has now been made to Cairo for Commission to try them.

Travelers - 175 poor travelers passed through El Arish during the month and were supplied with a free ration.

Crops - Crop prospects are good in the El Arish district, the rain of the 30th having been very general, and quite sufficient to make a sowing on.
